Like some coffee grinders, the Braun Aromatic Coffee Grinder KSM2 was born to grind coffee beans. Over time, however, it evolved into a multi-tasking tool capable of grinding not only coffee beans but spices as well.
A powerful 150-motor spins stainless steel blades to grind as much as 2½ ounces of coffee beans, which is good for 12 cups, in a few seconds. This prevents overheating of the beans thus guaranteeing that their taste is not spoiled. Apart from coffee beans, the Braun Automatic Coffee Grinder can also be used to grind flax seeds, peppercorns, cumin, cinnamon, parsley and other herbs, coriander, and allspice berries to name a few.
You can see into the grinder through its transparent lid. This way you can tell if the coffee beans or spices or herbs are already ground to your desired consistency. And you don’t have to worry about the grounds flying into your face because the lid is off. The machine won’t start unless the lid is properly shut.
Measuring slightly over three inches in depth and width and 7½ inches tall, this grinder is small. While you can choose to store it when not in use, with its small size you might as well just leave it on you work table or countertop, right beside your spice racks or coffee maker. It comes in either shiny black or white plastic casing, making it an elegant addition to your kitchen. For less clutter when not in use, Braun designers thoughtfully incorporated a space at the bottom of the grinder where you can wrap the power cord around.
