This heavy-duty hand mill, available from AAOOB Storable Foods/Products, is made of durable cast iron and will grind all dry grain and beans including corn, peas, wheat, oats, barley, beans, coffee, and other similar materials for table use. It can be used to process corn meal and animal feeds.
The rounded hopper can contain five cups of grain. Beneath this hopper are cone-shaped burrs that can be adjusted to grind fine or coarse grounds. Its finest grind setting produces coarse flour which is suitable for breads, cakes, cookies, muffins, biscuits, and pancakes. Depending on the grain or seed being processed, the Grist Hand Mill can produce 25 pounds per hour.
The burrs are made of an extra-hard special alloy designed to last a lifetime and provide even grinding. Rotating the burrs is a hand crank that is counter-balanced to help lessen torque and make operation easy.
