This hand-operated grain mill features a flywheel with a V-groove which allows conversion into a motorized or bicycle-powered mill for faster operation. It is attached to a hand-crafted, beautifully-finished plywood cabinet. This cube-shaped grinder would perfectly complement a traditional kitchen, or one with wood cupboards or tables.
Inside the cabinet are stone grinding plates that have metal alloy pieces embedded in them. These distinctively designed grinders can easily grind wheat, barley, alfalfa, peas, rice, corn, buckwheat, millet, lentils, rye, oats, and beans to super fine textures.
The hopper can accommodate up to 3½ cups of grain which, after passing through the grinding mechanism, fall into a pull-out drawer at the bottom of the cabinet. This transparent plastic drawer can hold four cups of fine flour.
With a footprint of 7½ inches by 11 inches and a height of 9½”, it does not occupy too much space. You can actually leave it on your work table or countertop as one of your kitchen’s highlights.
