The Jupiter Steel Flour Mill is an all metal flour grinder that is attached to a motor base. This base is actually quite versatile as it accepts other attachments designed to work with the Jupiter System. Such attachments include a meat mincer, wheatgrass juicer, fruit press, vegetable shredder, and an oat crusher.
With its stainless steel burr grinders, the Jupiter Steel Flour Mill can process all kinds of grains such as wheat, rice, oats, barley, millet, rye, or buckwheat. It can also grind corn, popcorn kernel as well as seeds like flax seeds, poppy seeds, and linseeds.
Its hopper can accommodate a little less than half a kilogram. Grinding at a fine setting, the hopper’s contents can be ground in roughly 10 minutes. If you continue grinding for an hour, you can have almost 3 kg of finely ground flour.
Adjusting of the grounds from coarse to fine or vice versa is easily accomplished. Indeed, you can do this even if the mill is running.
The 150-watt motor within the base is efficient, economical, and maintenance-free. It is also very quiet registering a sound level of only 50dB.
