The Porkert Manual Grist and Flour Mill is made of sturdy and solid cast iron that is plated with tin. This construction makes the mill extremely durable that it can be expected to last a lifetime of frequent use.

The mill features two grinder plates that are identical with each other. They are constructed of machined and sharpened natural cast iron. These 3-inch diameter plates can grind grain of all kinds such as wheat, rice, barley, or oats. It can also grind corn, seeds, spices, herbs, nuts, or coffee. They can also split soybeans when set on a loose adjustment.

You can choose the texture of your grounds by simply adjusting the setting screw that is attached to the stirrup. With this you can choose fine flour or cracked grains. Just fill the hopper and, after choosing the fineness of your grounds, crank the handle. In minutes, you can have your grounds.

This Czech Republic-made grist and flour mill stands 11 inches tall, weighs 13 pounds, and fastens securely to your work table or countertop with a clamp consisting of a rubber pad, so your table won’t get scratched, and a fastening bolt below the table.
